Gigabyte is known for its comprehensive product lineup that aims to upgrade the lives of its customers. Their expertise lies with awkward-winning products like motherboards, monitors, graphic cards, laptops, mini-PCs, LED monitors, and many other related components and accessories. As an everlasting developer in PC and server hardware solutions, Gigabyte is always extending its product line by releasing extraordinary products. Like its recent announcement regarding a 43-inch luxury display which is as big as a modest-sized TV but here’s the twist: It is made for playing games called the Aorus FV43U.
Fulfilling every gamer’s dreams, the news of its release has everyone awestruck. What really happened is that Gigabyte teased the new monitor, Aorus FV43U, on Facebook and said that the display is “coming soon.” Upon its rival, it will be competing with Asus ROG Strix XG43UQ that has similar properties such as a 43-inch display, similar specifications, and panel.
About this release, the social media pages of Gigabyte are being quite secretive. All they have said so far is that it leverages quantum dot technology. The good news for those awaiting his arrival is that Aorus VV43U is up for preorder at Gear shop. It is a retailer in the Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam.
As per reports, the 43-inch display can support a 4K resolution with a refresh rate as fast as 144Hz and 1ms response time. Moreover, it features a 10-bit panel with high-definition resolution support. It comes with a DisplayHDR 1000 certification which ensures that the peak brightness of the screen is at least 1,000 nits.
These specs are quite similar to XG43UQ. It is a FreeSync Premium display with HDMI 2.1 connectivity and a VA panel. It is most likely that FV43U shares the same traits. If that happens, it will be s treat for the gamers to have a monitor supporting the latest HDMI 2.1 standard.
HDMI 2.1 comes with 48Gbps uncompressed bandwidth and 128 Gbps compressed bandwidth which is sufficient to go well with a 10K resolution at 120Hz. HDMI 2.1 also has some amazing features like a variable refresh rate support and an automatic low latency mode which can switch a TV to gaming mode automatically when playing games. The latest GPUs such as Radeon RX 6000 series from AMD and GeForce RTX 30 series from Nvidia support HDMI 2.1 and so does the newest game consoles such as Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
The main thing about these luxury gaming monitors is that they do not come cheap. Currently, the pre-order price of FV43U is $1,515 which is Rs 2,37,022. Not quite what you expected it to be, right? But here’s the good news. It is relatively cheaper than XG43UQ so if it has had your eyes, you have an alternative by saving some money!
